  • The 8 commandments of cross-media for TV programs, Damien Marchi, France, an overview about the lessons learnt from the combination of a TV show and a website on the example of Loftstory, French Big Brother
  • MOD the movies – sustaining a story through live performance, Michela Ledwidge, UK, an approach to live modify movies

Broadband is DVD quality either packages in files or streaming

 

New Services with Broadband:

•          Digital and Interactive Television

•          Video-on-demand (NVOD)/streaming video

•          TV on Web

•          Delay TV

•          Sound/Music, Online Radios, Downloads

•          Games, Interactive Films

•          3D Elements, virtual reality

 

The broadband experience:

•          Broadband users are longer an more often online

•          Broadband users do more downloads, streaming media and portals to pick up information

•          60 pct of broadband users download one movie a week

•          PC and TV are complimentary, not a substitute

•          E Learning is not a driver for broadband
